James began writing for music magazines in the US during the '90s. After a few failed attempts at a DJ career, he carved out a living reviewing DJ and music production gear. Now he lives in the Bay Area, covering drones, fitness tech and culture, though he keeps his DJ gear plugged in and on show. You never know.

Previously he was a senior reporter for Business Insider and Cheddar. He was the 2018 recipient of SABEW’s Larry Birger Young Business Journalist Award. He is currently based in New York City and is originally from Louisville, Kentucky.
Dana is the Editor-in-Chief and runs a growing team of reporters and reviewers. She got her start in tech journalism a decade ago as a writer. She appears regularly on ABC Radio and has also been a guest on Bloomberg TV, CNN, CNBC, Marketplace, NPR and Fox Business, among other outlets. Dana is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Columbia Publishing Course. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
